Yes! ProSolutions Training is an accredited authorized provider of continuing education and training through the International Accreditors for Continuing Education and Training (IACET). There is no additional charge for CEUs.
CEU stands for Continuing Education Unit. CEUs are nationally recognized units earned for participation in qualifying continuing education programs and may be used for professional advancement or as evidence of increased abilities in a particular field. In the early care and education field, CEUs are required to renew a CDA. The CEU measurement is: 1 hour of course completion = 0.1 (or one tenth) of a CEU. Or, you can divide the course clock hours by 10 to determine the applicable number of CEUs for a class.
Most ProSolutions Training courses are one hour in length; some are two hours. You can go at your own pace, so take your time and make sure you've mastered the materials. You can also stop the course and come back later to the slide you viewed last, so you don't need to finish a course in one sitting if you are interrupted.
Each class has three components: a pre-test to help gauge what you already know about the topic, a clear, attractive course presentation to teach you more, and a post-test to ensure that you have mastered the course material:
- Complete the pre-test (which is not graded)
- Read the course presentation whenever you're ready (you can stop and re-start if necessary)
- Take the post-test and show us what you've learned! (then complete the evaluation)
When you successfully complete the post-test and your evaluation, you will have access to a personalized certificate showing that you completed one or two hours of state-approved training and earned 0.1 or 0.2 CEUs. It's just that simple!
Note:If a satisfactory score of 80% or more is not achieved on the first two post-test attempts, you may make two additional attempts to pass the post-test without additional charges. After four failing scores on the post-test for a single course, you will have to repurchase the course to take the test again.
All training courses, tests, and certificates are delivered online and require Internet access. To view the courses, you will need an Internet browser (such as Google's Chrome or Firefox). Courses can be accessed through a desktop, laptop, or mobile device. You will also need a printer to print out a copy of your certificates, or you may save your certificate to your device as a pdf.

Each course is designed as a series of screens that you can read at your own pace. To move to the next screen, click on the right arrow at the bottom of the screen. To return to a screen you've already seen, click on the left arrow at the bottom of the screen. If you have to stop for any reason, you will be able to return to the point where you stopped after you return to the site and sign in, so you will not lose any progress.
Learning Applications are multiple-choice questions that appear on some screens. Click on your chosen answer to see if you are right! If you have selected the right answer, you can move to the next screen by clicking on the right arrow at the bottom of the screen. If not, click on a different answer you believe is correct. You will not be able to continue with the class until you have correctly answered the question, but don't worry: there's no time limit and your answers are not graded. If you really get stuck, remember that you can go back to re-read earlier screens by clicking on the left arrow at the bottom of the screen. Then click the right arrow to return to the Learning Application screen.

ProSolutions Training is a well-respected and experienced professional development source. Its parent company Care Solutions formed its training division in 1993. Since then, the company has become well known for developing and presenting numerous curricula and learning events. The professional development division, now known as ProSolutions Training, began offering its state-approved curricula online, allowing professionals to obtain required trainings with much greater convenience and flexibility.
In 2014, ProSolutions Training successfully renewed its authorization to provide CEUs through IACET, the International Accreditors for Continuing Education and Training. The authorization process requires the company to demonstrate the highest quality in its trainings, management, and record-keeping and to pass a stringent audit. The IACET Authorized Provider status ensures top-quality curriculum and universally-recognized credits for completion. This coveted designation will remain current until the next renewal in 2019.
In 2010, ProSolutions Training launched its CDA Course, a 120-hour online course that meets the formal education requirement of the Council for Professional Recognition.
