Description
The Child Development Associate (CDA) is a national credential issued by the Council for Professional Recognition for those who care for children ages birth through five. Many states now require the CDA as a minimum educational requirement to work in the field of early care and education. This one-hour course will provide an in-depth description of the Direct Assessment Process with the Council for Professional Recognition. The Assessment Process is the second step in earning a CDA Credential. You should complete the first course in this series, "Introduction to the CDA Credential Part I: Overview and Training," before completing this course, in order to understand your options for the first step, which is completing the education component of the process.
