Module 3: Individualized Intervention; Determining the Meaning of Behavior and Developing Appropriate Responses

- Overview of Positive Behavior Supports
- Reviewing the dimensions of communication: Form and function
- Considering behavior, including challenging behavior, as communication
- Providing an introduction to Functional Assessment
- Understanding the development of Behavior Support Planning

Description
This curriculum is made up of three modules designed to promote healthy social emotional development, create supportive classroom environments, provide targeted strategies to help children learn to self-regulate and express emotions, and offer strategies to help children who have persistent challenging behaviors. This curriculum focuses on preschool children.
NOTE: Module 3 is the same for each group and will only be counted once.
