Description
Certain individuals in Georgia are required by state statutes to report suspected child abuse. There is a system in place to intervene on behalf of children who may be abused and to secure their safety. In order for this system to function, however, someone must first identify and refer the children who might be in need of protection.
This course was written specifically for individuals employed by the Georgia Department of Education (like public school teachers and principals or school volunteers) in frequent contact with children. This course is
not approved by Bright from the Start.
Not all courses are approved for early care and education in every state. Please check State and CEU Approvals page for details.
