Description
Social studies deals with people and how they live in the world. A good social studies curriculum allows children to understand their world and helps them to be contributing members of their families, classrooms, and communities. A strong foundation in social studies content and skills also prepares young children for history, geography, and other subjects they'll encounter in school.
Social studies is so much more than studying the past - it prepares children for the future. And you can help them learn and grow through simple, hands-on activities!
Not all courses are approved for early care and education in every state. Please check State and CEU Approvals page for details.
