Description
This one-hour course will introduce you to speech and language development in infants and toddlers (birth to 36 months). It's a fascinating time when initial sounds turn to babbling and babbling turns to words!
You will learn milestones for normal speech and language development as well as ways to support language development in young children. You will also learn about problems that can interfere with a child's development of speech and language and when it may be appropriate to gather/document information for possible referral to a specialist.
Not all courses are approved for early care and education in every state. Please check State and CEU Approvals page for details.
