Description
The human brain has been called "the three pound universe." There is no known entity in the world that is more marvelous, more mysterious, or more miraculous than the human brain and nervous system. Although many of its "secrets" remain unexplored, much is known about how the human brain works.
We know that parents and early care professionals literally help grow the brains of young children! It is important to know which practices foster healthy brain growth and development.
This course will explode old myths and explore current knowledge about the brain and early childhood learning and development to help benefit the young children in your care.
Not all courses are approved for early care and education in every state. Please check State and CEU Approvals page for details.
